A Good Laugh (and some awesome hunting too!)!!!

There are a group of guys from my hometown that currently have some pretty awesome videos of outdoor adventures online! They also run a hunting guide service among other things! I know that I can always find comic relief in watching the videos of these guys! Their business name is Fat Boy Outdoors. They have a website: http://www.fatboyoutdoors.com/ where you can find out about their services, book hunting trips, and find an awesome clothing line filled with Fat Boy Outdoors products! Give it a look, even if you aren't a fan of hunting, these guys will make you laugh! And when you're done...go ahead...look them up on facebook and "like" their page...I know you will want to!

Times Are Changin'!!

On Monday, July 19th, I took head on one of the hardest tasks of my life so far...the defending of my thesis! I was so nervous, but at the end of all it (thanks to my awesome friends here!) I passed! I will be graduating from West Texas A&M University on August 6th at 7:00 PM. I never imagined myself making it this far!! Thank you is not enough for all of the people that have pushed me and supported me!!

I am about to start a new adventure in the fall. I will be starting my Ph.D. program back at Texas A&M in meat science/food science/sensory. I am very excited to be going back to aggieland! I look forward to what the future has in store for me!!

This weekend presented a new hard challenge for me...the giving up of my kitties to my parents. I am not allowed to have them in my new place in College Station. I am blessed however that my parents can take them instead of having to find a strange new home for them. It will be definitely be a little different going home each night without them being th
ere...but I guess I will get used to it! Maybe I'll get a fish...

I just wanted to again say thank you to all of the people who supported me and helped on my journey here @ WTAMU! I have grown so much as a person, made many great memories, and learned lessons that have shaped me into the person I am today! I will always carry the work ethic I learned from here and the lessons learned from not only my co-workers, but my advisor and the rest of the faculty here @ WTAMU! GO BUFFS!!!
